The minimum memory requirement for Train Simulator Classic is 4 GB of RAM installed in your computer. To add to your injury, There is Nvidia specific features in MSFS. So it's normal that you will most NVidia post. 80 of the market is Nvidia while AMD is only 20. For the money, the RX580 and some RX5500s are within dollars of each other (like USD 20 difference). The cheapest graphics card you can play it on is an AMD. I would like to receive some recommendation, currently I have this configuration on my pc and I can play FS2020 in low quality, but I am looking for a graphics card to be able to play in high quality. For the most part, a GTX 1060 or RX580 will be just upscaling to higher resolutions and applying post-processing effects, while the CPU does the other 80% of the work. ![]() In your case, trying to drive such a high resolution with a 1080ti, it would be much better to use 100 render resolution and just rely on antialiasing. This means that for getting better FPS than 30, you should look into upgrading to a CPU with higher single-threaded performance. Higher can look slightly better since it’s doing downsampling to remove jagged edges along with antialiasing but generally speaking it’s almost never worth using render resolutions over 125 because the loss of frame rate is far too high. Lastly, TS2019 has a HEAVY CPU bottleneck, mostly to do with the fact that it's running on such an old game engine. Somewhere in the list of requirements it will either say DirectX or OpenGL. If you're not sure if your games run on OpenGL or DirectX (TS2019 and TSW both run on DirectX), you can check places like their Steam store page and scroll down to "system requirements". Driver support for OpenGL is garbage on Windows. VIDEO CARD: Radeon RX 570 or GeForce GTX 770. ![]() CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200. ![]() RX580 is also a really good option to consider (slightly cheaper than the 1060 for roughly the same performance), but if you have any OpenGL-based games you like to play, pass on AMD. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Minimum System Requirements. Very powerful card for its price point (tip: you can find them on eBay going for around $150 USD or 1070s for $220 USD). When running at 1440p with maxed out AA, it sits at around 50-60% usage giving me 30+ FPS (though I cap it at 30 for smoothness), so I'd say based on the 1070 being overkill, the 1060 is a good option. TS2019 uses only about 30% of my 1070 when running at maxed out 1080p plus mild AA.
